3D 2D Events: West End Fair

August 2021, St Johns Church, Princes St, Edinburgh

TThe Edinburgh West End Fair in 2021 was my first event with 3D 2D Events, whom I am now an official exhibitor with.

Due to current circumstances and building works within the venue, this was the first West End Fair in a few years, so I was very privileged to be asked to take part in this wonderful market that has been one of my favourites since I can recall.

I will be taking part in a couple more markets with 3D 2D Events this year, I will update with the dates and venues soon.

Edinburgh College of Art Degree Show

June 2019, Evolution House, Edinburgh College of Art

The culmination of my journey through university. I spent a considerable amount of time planning out every inch of the wall to ensure that every aspect fit in with my theme and complimented the art on display.

One of my main projects was based on “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.” I created an illustrated edition of the novels to give them the praise they deserve by portraying my vision of these characters, whilst still being true to their descriptions.

I also created the series of owls to display the detail and characterisation I can achieve from animals in the same way that is usually conveyed through portraits of people.

Scottish Design Exchange

51 George St, Edinburgh EH2 2HT

I am proud to be a part of the Scottish Design Exchange who sell unique products made by local artists. The shop used to be situated in Ocean Terminal, but now has a new home on George Street in the centre of town. I’ve been selling my work here since July 2019 and it’s been a great way to promote my work, as well as introducing me to new customers and other artists.

The Potting Shed

I had a solo exhibition at The Potting Shed in Peebles. This was a great space to display my wildlife art and sell some of my merchandise. This ran from the 16th of November to the 14th of December.

Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh

Arboretum Pl, Edinburgh

As part on an ongoing project to bring attention to the herbarium at the Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh, my displayed work was created to highlight the ecological collections between wildlife and plant life.

I specifically researched Malaysia’s ecological situation and hoped to teach children the importance of plants and how they affect the animals they love.

Artist Markets

Since graduating, I’ve delved into many ventures to market and sell my work, one of the main being artist markets. This is a great way to meet different customers and promote my work on offer as well as commissions.
